  • Elimination of large diameter vapor piping at high elevations (especially expensive when in stainless or higher alloys).
  • No support structure for the externally mounted condenser and peripheral equipment.
  • Reduced space requirement for the column and the condenser as a unit.
  • Effective use of pressure drop for condensing and not friction losses in the vapor lines; less burden on the vacuum system.
  • Internal condensate collection for external routing or internal reflux back to the column.
